WALL London’s employees and customers talk you though some of their favourite pieces from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection…

My favourite item from the current collection is the Charcoal Haze Oversized Cardigan. It looks great worn with my pairs of Very Slim Trousers and with all of my straight skirts. The sleeves are a great length to allow a big bangle or cuff to be shown off and the V-neckline is very flattering. It's very light weight, extremely warm, and, best of all, being 100% alpaca, it does not irritate my horribly sensitive skin.

As soon as I saw the sample for the hooded boiled wool coat, I knew it was the first piece on my list for winter. The boiled wool makes it super warm without being heavy or clumsy and the length adds the perfect amount of versatility between daytime and evening. Most of all I adore the hood; as well as being practical in our great British winters; it gives me a sense of glamour strolling home on those long dark evenings. It’s a must have.

I love English Heritage Jacket because not only does it fit perfectly with AW13 trends of both plaid and softer pastel colours; it gives me a discernible waist. I can wear it with jeans and boots for a coffee in Portobello market on Saturday morning, put it over a pencil skirt for a chic look and it looks positively stunning over a charcoal gathered skirt for a dinner.

I love the colour mix of grey and purple on this luxury plaid fabric and the fancy shape of the back of the jacket. It is unusual and elegant at the same time.
Outside work, I wear a lot of denim trousers and this jacket is a perfect way to dress them up. I would wear a ruffle cuff white shirt that I have with it, so the ruffles are out of the sleeves, and straight or boot leg denim trousers. It would work the same with black trousers. I also have a big collection of pencil skirts that this jacket would be very nice with and then I'll wear black boots with the outfit.

Another big thank you. My latest order arrived in under 48 hours. I fell in love with the shirt dress and scarf the moment I opened the box and before I had even tried them on! There is no chance I will send them back!

My favourite piece this season is the 'Wear Everywhere Raincoat'. As I'm quite petite (5'1"), long coats can often swamp me. This one however, is the perfect length. I love its masculine shape and would wear it with skinny jeans, a crisp white shirt, a slouchy jumper and masculine brogues. As a designer I'm always extremely fussy about the quality of the garments I buy and wear but this one fits the bill perfectly: an impeccably made investment piece that will last forever.

One of my favourite pieces is the new Lantern Dress in the midnight navy, not only because it is made in my favourite cotton in the world; pima cotton, but also I love the colour. I usually wear black and this colour is great alternative for anyone that loves wearing dark colours.
The modern architectural skirt shape is another plus, it is on trend but also softly constructed - so very comfortable. The vertical seams make me look taller, which being petite, I love. And finally, the velvet touches make the dress a bit more special so I can wear this for a dinner with dark tights and heels without feeling that I am too casual.

I’m mad about the Opera Coat, which I tried it on yesterday – again, with a wide belt and the sleeves turned up in one fold with the bottom edge reaching to my elbow. It makes a beautiful cross over dress too – good for 12 months of the year. It would work for a smart drinks party, a dinner, a ballet or an opera... I may have to see if Father Christmas likes it!
My favourite item is a toss up between the Trapeze Raincoat and the Opera Coat. I am constantly amazed that your designs fit so many different figure types and that they last for such a long time. They are not really for teenagers, but neither are they just for middle age and older. They are also easy to make into something unique.
Please keep up the good work. It is a pleasure to pop into the shop – particularly as Muzhan and your girls are so lovely and very helpful.

I’m in love with our Quintessential Tees. Perfect for layering, in a range of great colours and made from the softest Pima cotton. I think every wardrobe should start with great basics – and this is one of the best.

I love this Black Copper Shirt Jacket especially now winter has arrived, the soft texture with golden flecks work wonderfully for errands in the morning, lunch with girlfriends and dinner with the husband. A simple change of handbag is all that's needed.
