We are always developing ways to make your shopping experience with us fun, successful and easy. So our design team have been busy curating clever mini-edits to flatter your individual shape. We want you to look and feel your very best at every possible occasion.
“I wanted to make clothing that actually took into account the changing and different body shapes of women,” explains WALL London Director of Design, Judith Balcazar. “Our upper arm changes, our waist size often does not fit when all the rest of the garment does, and a size larger means everything else is too big. We want things that move with our daily changing body fluctuations; we like our shoulder seams a little further back so that our shoulders look less rounded, zips and buttons that are not so tiny and fiddly they cause exasperation and pockets (lovely, handy pockets!) for putting things in. These are just some of the small details we put into our design to make the clothes that you love (and so do we!)”
Here’s the breakdown…
APPLE – the fuller waist
The goal here is balance – clothes that skim the waist and hips rather than cling. Strike harmony with a relaxed fit top and slim fit trousers to show off your legs. See what we think would look great here.
COLUMN – long & straight
Effortlessly elegant, most WALL London styles will look great on you. Add some definition by with playing with layers and lengths. Take a look at what we think will flatter your figure here.
HOURGLASS – gorgeous curves
The body shape we all envy – slim at the waist with a great bust and bottom. You look good in more or less anything but we suggest to try and follow the lines of your body with clothing. Take a look at our selection here.
INVERTED TRIANGLE – broad shoulders, narrow hips
Don’t choose styles that hide your silhouette - the key here is to create volume in your lower half and keep your shoulders clear of any fuss. Wider hemlines work on you, as do sportier cuts to show off your great legs and narrow hips. Shop the selection here.
PEAR – defined waist, full hips
Focus all the attention to your top half with patterns, embroidery and draped necklines. Don’t be afraid to play around with layering to accentuate your bust. A-line skirts and dresses or wide leg trousers will also look amazing and slim wider hips characteristic of a pear-shaped body. Shop the edit here.
